Hi, my name is Gerald, and I've pretty much been an artist since elementary school. I've only gotten serious about since high school, and I plan on making into a career somethow. The problem is that I just haven't found my niche yet in a visual arts work force. Signs point to Graphic Design or Illustration though.
I like working with a lot of different mediums, and my favorite medium fluctuates, which I'm not too sure of that being a good or bad thing; I'm a little envious of those artists that have discovered their own visual style that they excel in. I currently use a Genius Mousepen 8x6 drawing tablet for any digital work and retouching. And by use, I mean I leave it stored away in the depths of my computer desk.
I hope that through this community I will be able to share my passion for art with others that share that same passion. I hope to improve my ability while improving the abilities of others. I'm just so fascinated with art; I find myself staring into frames of artwork wherever I go, whether it be a contemporary art gallery exhibit or the cafeteria in a hospital.
